Kerepesi Cemetary
A place of silence, sun and shadows in the middle of the city buzz. Impressive mausoleums and amazing sculptures under the 300+ year old trees. The most famous Hungarians are here: aristocrats, historical figures, politicians, actors, poets... and many artists - live ones too, as they often come to this stunningly beautiful place for inspiration.
Ghost spotting is fun.

Not only for the 850 species living there, but for the buildings, too: in Budapest even the elephants live in architectural marvels... this is one of the oldest and prettiest zoos in Europe. What is fun: you can buy 'Zoo Csemege' = Zoo Nibbles to feed the animals (the herbivorous ones, not the lions)... camels and giraffes especially love it.
